The “massive manhunt” that forced the closure of hundreds of Denver area schools Wednesday is over after the suspect, Sol Pais, was found dead at the base of Mount Evans. Authorities said she died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. We will have continuing coverage of this story throughout the day.

Colorado wildlife officials say at least one animal — deer, elk, mountain lions and black bear — is killed each day along the 18-mile stretch between Castle Rock and Colorado Springs. The data shows the need for more animal crossings, but as Bruce Finley reports, those will cost millions and construction could take months.

Jamal Murray’s sizzling 4th quarter propels Nuggets to tie series vs. Spurs
Jamal Murray exploded for 21 points in the fourth quarter Tuesday night to lead the Nuggets to 114-105 victory over the San Antonio Spurs. The victory tied the series at 1-1 as it heads to Texas for Games 3 and 4, Mike Singer reports.
