There are so many great grill-related recipes to share this week that we’re keeping the quick-meal options to a minimum here. I cherry-picked from the best of season’s grilling cookbooks, and our thinking was that you can give some of them a test run well before your July 4th festivities. #DinnerInMinutes is a low-energy affair from Nigella Lawson that involves cutting a few tomatoes and cracking eggs into a pan. You won’t spend much time or effort making #WeeknightVegetarian’s ziti and broccoli dish, either, which just happened to be our most-viewed recipe online for the week.  

Cathy Barrow’s Bring It! column always has good ideas for get-togethers and potlucks. This time around, she’s updated ham salad, which by the reaction in our Food Lab seems to be a sentimental favorite. Her Southern-style version keeps the pickle relish but eliminates the mayonnaise. Serve it on sturdy potato chips #forthewin!

Be on the lookout in Voraciously in the next few days for a fun thing to do with leftover s’mores ingredients. I’ll leave you with a farmers market PSA: If the season’s sour cherries have come in, scoop ’em up, pit ’em while you’re watching TV and find room in your freezer to stash ’em.
